மானத்தையும் அவமானத்தையும் நிகராகக் கருதுவான், நண்பரிடத்தும் பகைவரிடத்தும் நடுநிலைமை பூண்டான், எல்லாவிதத் தொழிலெடுப்புக்களையுந் துறந்தான் -- அவனே குணங்களைக் கடந்தவனென்றும் சொல்லப்படுகிறான்.

mānāpamānayos tulyas tulyo mitrāri-pakṣhayoḥ sarvārambha-parityāgī guṇātītaḥ sa uchyate
