இந்திரியத்துக்கு இந்திரிய விஷயத்தில் விருப்பு வெறுப்புக்கள் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. இவ்விரண்டுக்கும் ஒருவன் வசப்படலாகாது. இவை இவனுக்கு வழித் தடைகளாம்.

Attachment and aversion for the objects of the senses abide in the senses; let no one come under their sway; for, they are his enemies.
